Our thoughts have creative power (What you think, you create), so why do we waste our thoughts on worry, complaining, gossiping, whining, and just plain replaying difficult times and events in our lives? While talking about our problems is a normal and important way of working through the difficulties in life, fixating on them can magnetize the very thing you want to avoid.
When you worry about money, you might think about what you don’t have, your debt
or upcoming bills. You may talk with others
about how bad the economy is and how it is affecting you. Or you might think about the worse-case scenarios in your mind.
With all that being said, fruitful inspiration can come from complaining or worrying if you are also thinking about strategies
to release the fears, pattern, habit, or past. Combine the thoughts with action and be willing to do the work. Focus your energy on the possibilities of what could be instead of the reality of what is right now. Whether or not you believe it can work doesn’t matter. Isn’t that great?
