Hypnosis Self Help - In A Rush
During this time of year (and not just this time of year), we are hurrying from point A to point B, attempting to get everything done in a short period of time. What is lost is taking a few moments to just enjoy where you are, what you are doing and maybe even who you are with. Case in point, I walk my dog three times a day and it seems instead of enjoying the walk and being out doors, I am hurrying my little Precious to do her thing so I can get back to whatever my current activity is. Then at the end of the day, it takes a few moments to quiet down when I reflect on what I have accomplished in that day. But it would also be good to reflect on why I am doing what I am doing. What is the point of it all?
Sometimes we keep so busy so that we don’t have the time to reflect. But participating in life has so many rewards! Feeling fulfillment, having healthy relationships, and just being aware that we are here for a time, experiencing all that is around us, can bring into our lives joy.
During the next couple weeks, take a few breaks every day (5-10 minute breaks is all that is required) to just reflect on where you are in your life, who you have around you, and where you would like to be this year. Allow yourself the time to pamper yourself with a walk in the great outdoors, take a warm bubble bath, get a massage or even listen to a guided relaxation CD. Remember you are the number 1 important person in your life, and you must take care of yourself first.
